The CCA San Diego team is proud to hold this summer camp with the purpose of nurturing interest in science among young students. We aim to teach intriguing ideas to students of this camp and encourage them to appreciate and love genetics and environmental sciences.

Summer Hours: The Genetics and Environmental Sciences Camp will start June 19th and end June 23rd. More sessions may be opened up to accommodate students. Class sessions will start at 9:00am and end at 2:00pm, totaling 5 hours of fun daily! Genetics Science Curriculum Brief Overview

We will be performing a week-long project on mendelian genetics with mung bean plants and other science related projects, such as constructing a DNA double helix, ecological simulations, and learning lab techniques that most students won't otherwise learn until they study at a university! Science tools and t-shirts are also given!

Snack is provided everyday (apples, crackers, etc.).
Lunch can be provided for $7 (you may select lunch options), but students may bring their own lunches (reduce waste!). We will be able to accommodate food allergies (gluten free, vegan, etc.)
Summer Camp Cost The Genetics and Environmental Sciences Camp is $350 per student for the whole week. All of the above materials are included.
